From Field to Fork allows us to showcase some of the Thompson Collection which has been gifted to the Manor House by R. Thompson and Sons who were the Millwrights in Alford for many years and whose workshop contained everything needed to maintain and renew all the windmills in Lincolnshire and beyond.
We hope to have a building to house the collection in its entirety and this is just a very small selection on show. We are working with grant funders to raise the money to build this new home for the collection.
