Our group visits include a talk for 30 minutes about the history of the Alford Manor House, followed by self-guided tours in smaller groups of The Manor House, The Museum of Rural Life and The Walled Garden. Visits can be arranged for the whole day, morning, afternoon or evening.
Group Visit Charges for 2026
Cost per head £8.50 (includes VAT) discounted to £8.00 for groups of 20+ or local groups(LN13).
Visitors who live in LN13 and have obtained their free entry pass will be charged £3 per head.
Refreshments will be tailored to the requirements of each group and agreed in advance. For example:
- Tea/coffee with homemade biscuits: £4.00
- Tea/coffee with homemade cake: £5.50 (G.F. £6.00)
- Tea/coffee with clotted cream & jam scone: £6.00
Lunch can catered for, if the group leader arranges this in advance. Coach drivers will be provided with free refreshments and are not charged if they join the tour.
