Alford Manor House is the ideal venue for meetings, events and all social occasions. Set in large grounds with a private walled garden and fully lined marquee, it is a unique place to hold your special events. Additional rooms are available in the house for smaller meetings and events, along with a bar, tea rooms and two rooms licensed for civil ceremonies.
Hire Charges for 2026
Room hire in the house: £24 per hour (includes VAT)
This is reduced by 50% for charities and local (LN13) groups, i.e. £12 an hour
Hire of the new room: £50 per hour (includes VAT)
Charity & local group rate reduced by 50% per hour, i.e. £25 per hour
Parties, Baby Showers, Birthday / Christening Parties: £180 for 4 hours (includes VAT)
An initial £50 deposit is required for these events to cover additional costs for cleaning or in case of damage to Manor House property. This will be returned if the room, garden and toilets are left as found.
We will set up tables (with tablecloths) and chairs to client’s requirements for the above bookings.
Car parking, access to the peaceful Walled Garden and cleaning included.
Manor House Catering will be pleased to cater for your event.
Use of bar: £24 per hour
Tea/coffee will be available to purchase as well as alcoholic / non-alcoholic drinks.
Funeral teas No cost to hire the room. Charges are based on numbers booked for each funeral tea. Please see our Funeral Teas page for more information.

Paranormal Nights: £60 per hour (includes VAT)
A volunteer will be on site throughout the time of your booking
Access
Please note that although the house has disabled access to the first floor and toilets for the disabled, wheelchair access is very limited, owing to the different levels on which each of the rooms in the house is built. See our Access Statement for full details.
